Established by Tribal Council resolution in 2018, the Pueblo of Pojoaque Téwa Language Department is staffed by second-language learners who work with first-language speakers to preserve, strengthen, and expand use of Téwa within P’osuwäegeh Ówingeh and beyond. We support language learning, documentation, and intergenerational transmission to safeguard our culture and traditional values.
